Mercy Orji, popularly known as Melle a.k.a #MelleintheMiddle, hails from Abiriba in Ohafia L.G.A, Abia State.

Born on the 1st of January (New Year Kid) in Enugu state and the last of two kids, Melle is a graduate of Applied Microbiology and Brewing from the prestigeous Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. She also holds a diploma in broadcasting from FRCN training school.

Melle was nominated in the Nigeria Broadcasters Merit Awards in 2015. She loves to meet new people and experience new things and hates seeing people in pains, despite always describing herself as having a twisted personality.
